Interim & Fractional CTO · Fintech & Crypto · AI by training

I step in when the tech
is the bottleneck.

Interim or fractional CTO for founders who need to ship something real — or rescue something stuck. I take prototypes to production, rebuild the team and architecture underneath, and tell you straight what's salvageable. I still write the code — from Solidity to low-level C. AI where it pays off, not as hype; sharpest in regulated fintech and crypto.

What I do

Three ways in.

One operator — from a single honest read of where you stand, to stepping in and owning the tech until it's solid.

Step in & stabilize

The CTO left, the build stalled, or engineering and leadership stopped understanding each other. I take over the tech, calm the room, and get delivery moving again.

Take it to production

Turn a prototype — often vibe-coded — into a product that survives real users and a security audit. Architecture, security, compliance, scale, and the team to carry it.

Tell you the truth

A senior read on what's broken and why — product, architecture, team, risk. Peer-level sparring with real decisions — not coaching.

Why me

A rare combination.

I can talk architecture with your engineers and runway with your investors — in the same call, and mean both.

Two master's sit behind that: Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong (deep-learning thesis), and International Business at KU Leuven. I've shipped IoT hardware into retail, written a production blockchain solo, and built a B2B sales operation in China from the ground up. So I read technical risk and business constraint in the same breath — and tell founders the truth on both.

AI by training, not by trend. The deep-learning background is real ML work, not prompts — so I build AI into delivery and product where it earns its place, and say so when it doesn't.

From firmware to smart contracts
Track record

Built, shipped, in production.

Cold-started the tech of a digital-currency platform

CTO · Leondrino · Berlin · now

A platform, building since 2013, that lets enterprises issue their own branded tokens for loyalty and payments. I came in as CTO and ran a full cold start: built a new engineering team, absorbed the handover from the former CTO and external devs, and re-laid the architecture — on infrastructure where security and compliance can't be afterthoughts. Leadership first, but I earn the room on the code.

IoT hardware, zero to retail product

Co-founder & CTO · FYTA · 2020–2026

A plant-care brand built from nothing — sensors, firmware, app, cloud, and the team behind them — to a product shipping on retail shelves.

A production blockchain, shipped solo

Founder · NanoCredit · World Chain

Solidity smart contracts, World ID Sybil-resistance, a live mini-app, a real-world pilot — contracts, frontend and infrastructure, all built by one person.

German Mercator Fellow 2025

A German government fellowship · financial inclusion

A full year on financial inclusion, embedded across New York, San Francisco, Singapore and Southeast Asia.

How we work together

Two ways to engage.

Interim

3–6 month mandate

Near full-time, when the tech is the bottleneck. I step in, unblock the core problem, rebuild or stabilize the team, and hand back something solid.

Fractional / Advisory

2–3 days per week

An ongoing retainer — a senior CTO who speaks both engineering and the boardroom, and makes the call instead of just reporting it.

Hybrid — on-site sprints, remote in between · Berlin

Let's talk

Grab a slot.

30 minutes, no pitch. Tell me what's stuck — tech, team, or compliance — and I'll tell you straight what I'd do, and whether I'm the right person to do it.
